I am currently applying for a Fulbright scholarship in the United Kingdom. I am working on my grant proposal but there seems to be some variation between pursuing independent study or a degree program. I have been accepted into a degree program at an university in England. I want to ask a scholar that has also pursued a degree program about the difference in the grant proposal. It seems like they are just requiring information about the program and the country and not a research proposal required for independent study. Is this correct?

      Hi Gina,

Not sure if you’re applying for an Open Award or for a UK Partnership Award. In either example, you will need to outline our research proposal and intentions, not just information about the program you intend to pursue. For more information, please review the UK country summary carefully: https://us.fulbrightonline.org/countries/selectedcountry/united-kingdom. Good luck!
